Thousands gather in New York City to protest government inaction in the wake of yet another school shooting in the United States.
The March for Our Lives relay emerged in the aftermath of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
After 17 students were shot dead at school on February 14th (Valentine's Day), survivors joined forcers to organise the national relay.
The United States remains one of the only countries in the developed world that regularly experiences mass shootings.
While some progress has been made, sweeping gun control legislation has still not come to the country.
